Museo de Historia Natural

The Museum of Natural History in Torrevieja has a collection of skeletons of whales, dolphins, hawksbill sea turtles and invertebrate sea creatures. These were collected in the Mediterranean Sea. The museum also offers a collection of molluscs, for example, from the Indo-Pacific region, the Atlantic, Africa and from the Mediterranean Sea. The collection of about 300 types of molluscs and about 20 corals was brought from the shore of Zanzibar Island during the period from1972 to 1975.
