In the Spanish province of Alicante is the center town of Orihuela. It lies on the Costa Blanca, south of the town of Torrevieja. By the old Episcopal city the river Segura flows. It is the capital of the prefecture Vega Baja del Segura. From the coast to the mountains in the hinterland, the area of the city stretches. The coast is about 30 km from the center. Sea and sun are united in Orihuela and its holiday offer. Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Punta Prima, La Zenia and Dehesa are in this county, the famous vacation spots, which can be found in the north.

The best conditions for golfers are offered in some of these places. Three excellent 18-hole golf courses and magnificent scenery are among other hallmarks of the region. The three places with a rich flora and fauna on the lawns provide a wonderful sight in which they can play their favorite sport, which was invented in the 15th century in Scotland to exercise.

You should definitely also during your holiday, take a trip into the city center. The buildings in the urban area are very isolated from skyscrapers or hotel facilities.
